BODY AS A VESSEL

My body is a vessel

It carries me to dark places

It pushes me towards light

My body is my boat.

We sail along the horizon

I float through the sunset

Up through the ozone layer

My body is suspension.

I feel the pressure burst

My body is my medic

We fall back to earth

I am caught in its hands.

I am sorry for the way I treated you

For all those years of hating you

You saved me more than once

Body

You saved me more than once.
